SERVICES

ROBOTIC SURGERY

Robotic surgery allows doctors to perform many types of complex procedures with more precision, flexibility and control than is possible with traditional procedures. Robotic surgery is often performed through tiny incisions. But sometimes it's used in open surgeries. Robotic surgery also is called robot-assisted surgery.

PILES

Piles, also known as hemorrhoids, are swollen veins in the anus or lower rectum. They can be internal or external. Your anus is lined with spongy tissue and blood vessels called the anal cushions. These help your anus to close. If the blood vessels in this area become enlarged, you might experience symptoms of piles.

Fissure

A fissure is a crack or tear in the skin. The word fissure comes from the Latin word fissura, which means a cleft or crack. There are different types of fissures, including anal fissures and vulval fissures. An anal fissure is a crack or split in the tissues that line your anal canal. Trauma causes the lining to tear, causing acute pain and bleeding. In Vulval fissures Cracks, tears, or abrasions on the vulva or perineum.

Fistula

A fistula is an abnormal connection between two body parts, such as organs, blood vessels, or the skin. Fistulas can cause pain, swelling, redness, and other symptoms. A fistula can result from an infection, inflammation, injury or surgery. Many results from complications during childbirth. Sometimes a fistula is deliberately surgically created as part of a treatment, for example in the case of an arteriovenous fistula for hemodialysis.

Varicose Veins

Varicose veins are bulging, enlarged veins. Any vein that is close to the skin's surface, called superficial, can become varicosed. Varicose veins most often affect the veins in the legs. That's because standing and walking increase the pressure in the veins of the lower body. For many people, varicose veins are simply a cosmetic concern. So are spider veins, a common, mild form of varicose veins.

Pilonidal Sinus

A pilonidal sinus is a small hole or tunnel at the top of your bottom, between your buttocks. Treatment is usually only needed if it becomes infected. Most people with a pilonidal sinus do not notice it unless it becomes infected and cause symptoms. An infection will cause pain and swelling at the top of the cleft in your buttocks, and a pus-filled skin abscess can develop. If you keep getting infections you may have ongoing problems, like discomfort or pain, and regularly seeping pus or blood.

Appendectomy

Appendectomy is the surgical removal of the appendix, typically performed when it becomes inflamed due to appendicitis. The procedure can be done via laparoscopic surgery (minimally invasive) or traditional open surgery. After removal, recovery involves antibiotics and rest. If untreated, appendicitis can lead to a ruptured appendix, causing severe complications. Early treatment ensures better outcomes.

Hydrocele

A hydrocele is a collection of peritoneal fluid between the parietal and visceral layers of the tunica vaginalis, which directly surrounds the testis and spermatic cord. Hydroceles arise from an imbalance of secretion and reabsorption of fluid from the tunica vaginalis. This activity illustrates the evaluation and management of hydrocele and highlights the role of the interprofessional team in evaluating and treating patients with this condition.

Gallbladder Removal

Gallbladder removal, also known as a cholecystectomy, is a common surgery to address problems with the gallbladder, a small organ that stores bile, and is often performed to treat gallstones or other gallbladder issues. The gallbladder is a small, pouch-like organ in the upper right part of your tummy. It stores bile, a fluid produced by the liver that helps break down fatty foods. You don't need a gallbladder, so surgery to take it out is often recommended if you develop any problems with it.

Hernia

A hernia occurs when an organ or tissue pushes through a weak spot in the surrounding muscle or connective tissue. Common types include inguinal, umbilical, and hiatal hernias. Treatment typically involves surgery to repair the defect. For smaller hernias, laparoscopic surgery offers a minimally invasive option, ensuring faster recovery and less pain post-operation.

Circumcision

Circumcision is the surgical removal of the foreskin from the penis, often performed for medical, cultural, or religious reasons. The procedure is typically done under local anesthesia in a sterile setting. Recovery is relatively quick, with proper care involving hygiene and avoiding strenuous activity. In rare cases, complications may arise, requiring follow-up care or treatment.

Abscess Drainage

Abscess drainage is a medical procedure to remove pus from an infected area, usually caused by bacteria. The abscess is carefully incised, and the pus is drained to relieve pain and prevent further infection. The area may be flushed with antiseptic, and a drain may be placed. Antibiotics are prescribed, and proper wound care is crucial for healing.

Breast Lump Surgery

Breast lump surgical treatment involves removing abnormal lumps through procedures like lumpectomy (removal of the lump) or mastectomy (removal of the entire breast). The surgery aims to remove cancerous or benign tissue, with follow-up treatments like radiation or chemotherapy, depending on the diagnosis, ensuring optimal recovery and outcomes.

Breast Cancer Surgery

Breast cancer surgery involves removing cancerous tissue from the breast. Common procedures include lumpectomy (removal of the tumor) and mastectomy (removal of the entire breast). Treatment may follow with radiation, chemotherapy, or hormone therapy, depending on the cancer’s stage, type, and spread, aimed at preventing recurrence and promoting recovery.

Intestinal & Colorectal Cancer

Intestinal and colorectal cancer affect the colon, rectum, or other parts of the digestive system. Treatment typically involves surgery to remove the tumor, followed by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or targeted therapy. Early detection and personalized treatment plans significantly improve recovery chances and prevent cancer recurrence.
